Protecting Yourself from Rogues and Rascals in your Employ: When Vice Principals, Employees, Agents and Supervisors go Astray

Recently Kevin Sadler, a partner in Baker Botts’ Litigation Practice, was invited to speak at the Texas Association of Business and Society for Human Resource Management’s 27th Annual Texas Employment Symposium in San Antonio, Texas.

His speech addressed issues on employer liabilities in four major areas: vicarious liability, vice-principal liability, negligent hiring, training, retention, supervision, and strict liability for a supervisor’s sexual harassment conduct. Included in his speech, are examples of cases that relate to these issues.

Sadler has extensive experience in labor and employment matters, including discrimination claims, noncompetition agreements, and trade secret disputes. Sadler also focuses in civil litigation, represents major energy and technology firms in tort defense, contract and statutory claims, including class actions.
