At this 90-minute webinar, the UK HFCA will be launching their new Position Paper, which sets out a vision for blue hydrogen in the UK out to 2050 – a clear route for delivering low cost, low carbon hydrogen in the near to medium term, supporting the long term growth of hydrogen, accelerating the transition to net zero and facilitating ‘build back better’ and levelling up.
The webinar will include an introduction to the Position Paper from Sam French, Chair of the UK HFCA Blue Hydrogen Working Group. This will be followed by a panel discussion hosted by Rob Butler, Partner at Baker Botts, during which panelists from Johnson Matthey, BP, the Hydrogen Council and the UK Government will consider:
- The vision for Blue Hydrogen out to 2050;
- What Blue Hydrogen offers the UK; and
- How Blue Hydrogen deployment can be accelerated to help deliver net zero and form a core plank of the UK’s Post-COVID economic “build back better” recovery.
