American Bar Association’s Fundamentals of Antitrust Economics Series


On Thursday, February 9, 2017 the American Bar Association’s Section of Antitrust Law’s Economics Committee will present “Fundamentals of Antitrust Economics Series: Unilateral Effects.”  The program will take place at Baker Botts’ Washington, DC office from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. EDT and will teach participants the basic economic principles related to antitrust analysis, including market definition, market power, competitive effects, and econometrics.  Baker Botts Associate Jana Seidl will moderate the panel featuring guest Dr. Keith Brand, Economist at the Federal Trade Commission, who will discuss economic approaches to the analysis of unilateral effects in horizontal mergers.
