Leslie McCombs Roussev litigates cases nationwide with a focus on complex commercial matters. Her experience spans all phases of litigation, including strategy development, large-scale discovery efforts, dispositive motion practice, expert and fact witness development, and trial. She currently represents an SEC receiver appointed in connection with a multi-billion dollar securities fraud in multiple litigation matters. In 2023, she served on the team that secured settlements of over $1.6 billion for the Receivership from a group of bank defendants on the eve of trial. Leslie has also represented clients in trademark disputes, state and federal multidistrict litigation, contract disputes, Texas Securities Act violations and statutory fraud claims, OSHA regulations and investigations, healthcare liability matters, real estate litigation, and industrial and retail leasing transactions. Leslie was recognized as Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch® in America for Commercial Litigation in 2024.
Leslie also maintains a dedicated pro bono docket, assisting domestic violence survivors with divorce and custody matters while simultaneously strengthening the firm's partnership with Genesis Women's Shelter. Leslie further supports the mission of Genesis Women's Shelter through her involvement in Law Rocks, a nonprofit organization that holds “battle of the bands” fundraising concerts for legal professionals.
Leslie graduated cum laude from SMU Dedman School of Law and served as Editor-in-Chief of SMU International Law Review: Law and Business Review of the Americas. During law school, she externed with the Honorable Barbara M.G. Lynn, U.S. District Judge for the Northern District of Texas. Leslie's undergraduate degree is in Economics and Spanish from Southern Methodist University.
