Overview

Nick Peacock is the Chief Operating Officer of Baker Botts. As part of the executive leadership team, together with the Managing Partner, he drives the formulation, development and execution of long-range plans, strategies and initiatives for the firm's continued transformation.

He is responsible for leading the firm's business operations, including all financial, operational, client development and administrative support functions across the firm, ensuring alignment with Baker Botts' client service principles and growth strategy, with a focus on operational excellence.

Prior to joining Baker Botts, Nick served in leadership positions in the legal and consulting industries, focusing on running global business units, driving transformational change, merger planning and integration, and developing business strategies in operations, finance, and IT.

He served for four years as Regional Operating Officer of one of the world's largest law firm's North American Operations. Before that, he was Chief Operating Officer of their Hong Kong, China, Vietnam and Korea offices and was acting Regional Operating Officer of the Asia-Pacific Region.

Earlier, Nick was a corporate finance lawyer and practiced in London prior to completing his MBA at London Business School. As part of his studies, he was selected for the International Exchange Program with the Kellogg School of Management in Chicago.

Before re-entering the legal field, Mr. Peacock was a strategy consultant with Bain & Co. and Corven, in the United Kingdom and Australia. In these roles, he focused on change and innovation initiatives to aid clients in enhancing their strategic focus and performance.
