Overview

Sean O'Neill is a member of the firm's Global Projects group whose practice primarily involves energy and infrastructure-related project development. Sean represents public and private companies in a broad range of transactional matters, including agreements relating to the construction and operation of largescale projects and the marketing and offtake of their output.

Before entering law school, Sean was a contractor at the Department of Energy's National Nuclear Security Administration and a nonprofit case manager in the Jesuit Volunteer Corps program.

  • Sempra Energy – Port Arthur LNG Phase 1 and Phase 2 projects, including developing LNG SPAs and operational agreements
  • Tellurian Inc. – development of integrated Driftwood LNG project, including drafting of project agreements
  • Major Automotive Company – development of hydrogen fueling infrastructure, including operational and siting arrangements for hydrogen fueling stations at affiliated dealerships
  • Private equity fund – sale of a portfolio of hydroelectric projects located across the United States
  • An affiliate of The AES Corporation – debt and tax equity financing transactions across a portfolio of photovoltaic solar energy generating systems
