Arsalan Eftekhar is a member of the firm's Global Projects group, where he represents both domestic and foreign companies in a broad range of energy-related transactions and projects, including liquefied natural gas (LNG), gas-to-power, gas pipelines, clean hydrogen/ammonia, CCUS, shipping and mining.
Arsalan's practice includes experience in complex, onshore and offshore, upstream and midstream oil & gas A&D/M&A transactions. He advises public and private clients on the development of LNG, CCUS and clean hydrogen/ammonia projects, joint ventures, and transactions. Arsalan assists clients with front-end development and structuring for projects and their ownership, the acquisition and sale of interests in assets and projects, and the financing of those projects. Arsalan has current experience with LNG projects, including assisting clients with the structuring, development, construction and launch of greenfield liquefaction projects and related upstream developments, regasification facility projects, LNG shipping matters, and LNG sale and purchase agreements (LNG SPAs).
Before attending law school, Arsalan supported and implemented financial accounting software for major oil and gas companies in Houston, Dallas, and Oklahoma City. He routinely advised his clients on evolving trends in Joint Operating Agreements (JOAs) and supported multiple business requirements, such as Joint Interest Billing (JIB).
