Overview

Emily Dace represents high-net-worth individuals and businesses in complex tax controversy matters involving disputes and litigation with the Department of Justice and the Internal Revenue Service. She regularly advises clients on federal gift and estate tax issues, with a particular focus on matters involving hard-to-value assets (e.g., artwork, closely held business interests, and other intangible assets). Ms. Dace also provides guidance regarding business and estate planning transactions, including the lifetime transfer of assets, analysis of tax issues, and the restructuring of family-owned businesses.
