Kiran is an English barrister practising in complex commercial disputes. Kiran has acted in English High Court litigation and international arbitrations across a range of industry sectors, including banking and finance, construction, corporate finance, energy, financial services, natural resources, oil and gas, pensions, technology and telecommunications.
Kiran has experience acting in cases involving issues of public law, financial regulation, and international and domestic criminal law, including in relation to fraud, anti-corruption and bribery offences. Kiran regularly advises clients in the field of economic sanctions on the requirements of EU and English law.
From 2011 to 2012, Kiran was Judicial Assistant to Lord Mance, Lord Brown and Lord Carnwath at the UK Supreme Court.
Kiran has full rights to conduct litigation, and full rights of audience, in relation to all proceedings in the English courts. Kiran originally qualified as a solicitor at a Magic Circle law firm and practised for a number of years before transferring to the English Bar.
