Mr. Sweet represents public and private companies in a broad range of complex civil litigation matters, including energy and personal injury/property damage litigation, as well as regulatory and administrative proceedings. He also handles a wide range of matters involving insurance and contractual disputes.

Mr. Sweet advises a wide range of energy clients on all aspects of legal and operational issues arising from the rapid development of various oil and gas shale plays throughout Texas and the United States. Mr. Sweet has also represented oil and gas operators in a number of transactional and regulatory engagements, including oil and gas lease negotiations, title issues, risk mitigation and contested hearings at the Texas Railroad Commission.
