Ms. Hook advises clients in regulatory and transactional matters relating to the energy industry. She has worked on matters related to the jurisdiction and regulations of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), the Department of Energy (DOE) and state public utility commissions, including the Public Utility Commission of Texas. Ms. Hook counsels hydroelectric and electric generation, as well as natural gas and electric transmission companies, in proceedings for federal and state permits and authorizations, and advises clients regarding ongoing regulatory compliance. Ms. Hook also advises clients on matters under the National Environmental Policy Act, the Clean Water Act, the Endangered Species Act, and the National Historic Preservation Act.
Ms. Hook is fluent in Spanish, Arabic, and Hebrew.
