Ms. Hook advises clients in transactional and regulatory matters relating to the energy industry. She has recent, current experience working on LNG liquefaction projects including liquefaction tolling arrangements and LNG sale and purchase agreements. In her regulatory work, Ms. Hook has worked on matters related to the jurisdiction and regulations of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), the Department of Energy (DOE) and state public utility commissions, including the Public Utility Commission of Texas. Ms. Hook counsels hydroelectric and electric generation, as well as natural gas, LNG, and electric transmission companies, in proceedings for federal and state authorizations and advises clients regarding the development of commercial agreements. Ms. Hook also advises clients on matters under the National Environmental Policy Act, the Clean Water Act, the Endangered Species Act, and the National Historic Preservation Act.
