Pam Giblin is a partner in the Austin office of Baker Botts. She has practiced environmental law for over 25 years and has had extensive experience in advising clients on a broad array of environmental issues, particularly in the area of air quality. Ms. Giblin has served as a member of EPA's Clean Air Act Advisory Committee. She is the immediate past-President of the American College of Environmental Lawyers. Ms. Giblin is listed in the environmental law section of The Best Lawyers in America (1989-2015).
She serves on the advisory councils of the University of Texas Institute of Latin American Studies and the Kay Bailey Hutchison Energy Center. She is also on the Board of the Environmental Law Institute. Ms. Giblin has consistently been ranked by Chambers (2010-2015) as a "Star Individual," commenting that “she wins accolades for her total can-do attitude-she will not accept that something cannot be accomplished.”
During the course of her career, Ms. Giblin has obtained environmental permits for many major industrial facilities, including the largest refinery expansion in North America and the greenfield Peterbilt truck manufacturing facility in Denton, Texas.
