Bethany Ford works on a range of intellectual property matters, focusing primarily on pre-suit patent investigation, patent litigation, and patent prosecution and procurement.
Ms. Ford prepares and prosecutes patent applications relating to various technologies including computer systems, medical devices, software, and financial services. Ms. Ford's litigation experience includes pretrial discovery, infringement and invalidity analysis, claim construction and motion practice.
Ever mindful of the community, Ms. Ford keeps an active pro-bono docket, handling matters that range from family law to intellectual property.
During law school, Ms. Ford was a judicial intern to The Honorable John D. Love in the Eastern District of Texas and worked for intellectual property law firms. Ms. Ford also served as a research assistant and teaching assistant and was active in organizations that provided free legal services to Chicago residents.
