Our experience in providing legal advice to clients in the Middle East set the groundwork for the 2001 opening of our first office in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where we are proud to work in association with the Law Office of Mohanned bin Saud Al-Rasheed.
Our broad base of experience in the Middle East includes a substantial amount of work in energy-related project development and finance. We represent clients in the region not only in the energy industry but also in the telecommunications, manufacturing, transportation, construction and banking industries, among others. The firm’s practice also encompasses transactional work, including entity formation and structuring, contract negotiation, and banking and finance, as well as international litigation and arbitration.
Our lawyers have served in community positions in Riyadh and throughout Saudi Arabia. Since 1996 we have acted as general counsel for the National U.S.-Arab Chamber of Commerce and as the Saudi Arabia country coordinator for the American Bar Association’s Section on International Law and Practice. Our experienced resources include a former Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, and the strengths of our team allow us to craft pragmatic and novel solutions to help our clients achieve their goals.
Researchers in the most recent Chambers Global/Saudi Arabia section and The Legal 500 EMEA have recognized the Riyadh office for its work in the Banking & Finance, Corporate/Commercial, Corporate M&A and Projects & Energy categories. We pride ourselves on the team approach we bring to every engagement, and we believe our collaborative approach improves the results we earn for our clients.
