PALO ALTO, April 26, 2019 – The Daily Journal recognized three Baker Botts Partners as 2019 Top Intellectual Property Lawyers in California.
Palo Alto-based Partners, Hopkins Guy and Eliot Williams, and San Francisco-based Partner Sarah Guske, were all included in this year’s ranking. For Eliot Williams, this is his third consecutive year to be recognized.
“Baker Botts has established itself as one of the leading IP firms in the country. In fact, 15 of our top 25 clients are in the IP and technology space. This acknowledgement of three of our outstanding IP leaders further demonstrates the breadth and depth of experience we offer to our global clients. This recognition also is another sign of the firm’s growing presence in the Bay area,” said John Martin, Managing Partner of Baker Botts. Mr. Martin is based in the firm’s Palo Alto office.
“Sarah, Eliot and Hop are all outstanding partners, and we are all proud of this well-deserved accomplishment,” said Bart Showalter, Chair of the firm’s Intellectual Property Department.
“They are part of a firmwide team of over 180 Baker Botts lawyers and patent professionals possessing over 220 advanced degrees who are servicing global IP and technology clients on a daily basis.
