The American College of Trial Lawyers was founded in 1950 and recognizes the best trial lawyers in the United States and Canada. The College's Fellows are chosen by invitation and only upon a review of their experience and expertise, and is limited to one percent of the lawyers in any individual state or province.
Mr. Sales was inducted by ACTL as a Fellow during a ceremony on March 4, 2017 in Boca Rotan, Florida. He has previously been recognized as a leading trial lawyer in Texas and nationally, by organizations such as Legal 500, Chambers USA, Best Lawyers in America, and the American Board of Trial Advocates. Mr. Sales served as President of the Houston Bar Association (2008-2009) and as Director of the State Bar of Texas (2009-2012), and he is currently serving as Chair of the Houston Bar Foundation.
