Summary

Mr. Roberts represents debtors, creditors, lenders, equity and asset purchasers in corporate reorganization cases and out-of-court workouts, as well as in bankruptcy-related litigation in federal court. He has experience advising on cross-border insolvency issues, the Bankruptcy Code's exceptional treatment of derivatives and capital market contracts and insolvency-related corporate governance issues. Mr. Roberts has worked on chapter 11 cases filed in Texas, Delaware, New York, California, Florida, Virginia and Kentucky.

Following graduation from law school, Mr. Roberts served as a law clerk to the Honorable Hayden Head of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas. Mr. Roberts is fluent in Spanish.
