Baker Botts Webinar: Crude Oil Pipeline Constraints in the Permian Basin

The Energy Information Administration’s “Short Term Energy Outlook” for July 2018 forecasts that U.S. production of oil and gas will set new records in both 2018 and 2019. However, some production areas continue to experience a shortage of pipeline capacity. For example, one recent report predicted that the Permian Basin in Texas would continue to have a shortage of crude oil pipeline capacity into 2020.

In this webinar, focusing on the Permian Basin, Baker Botts lawyers Jim BarkleyBill Kroger, Scott Looper and Tina Nguyen will provide background information on pipeline constraints and discuss the legal and business implications of those constraints.
