We contribute time to community service projects and many of us serve on boards and committees of arts and civic groups.

We work hard at Baker Botts and we put in long hours, but we also find immense value in having a life outside of work. We encourage our lawyers to seek balance. Baker Botts provides associates with three weeks of vacation per year (four weeks in our NY office) in addition to national holidays. The firm also provides 12 weeks of paid leave for the birth, adoption and initial care of a child. An additional 12 weeks of unpaid leave can be taken at the discretion of the Firm.
