Summary
Brian Goldberg’s practice focuses primarily on patent prosecution, litigation and client counseling. He has experience in a variety of technological fields, including: biomedical devices, printing systems, robotics, telecommunication systems, software, control systems, automotive components and cooking systems.
Before joining the firm, Mr. Goldberg worked for six years as a Patent Examiner for the United States Patent and Trademark Office (PTO). While working at the PTO, he attended law school at George Mason University and graduated from the Patent Law Track. While in law school, Mr. Goldberg was on the Research and Publication Committees of The Journal of Law, Economics & Policy, and was a semi-finalist and awarded “Best Appellant Brief” at the Regional Giles S. Rich Moot Court Competition. As an undergraduate at Duke University, Mr. Goldberg completed a dual degree in biomedical and electrical engineering, with a minor in economics, and was a winner of the Student Design Competition at the Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology Society of North America (RESNA) Conference.
