Summary

Luke Ledbetter advises clients on a variety of environmental matters in the areas of air, water, waste and remediation. He also uses his political experience to provide government relations counsel to clients in a number of industries.

Prior to joining the Firm he served as a law clerk to the Honorable James R. Nowlin of the United States District Court of the Western District of Texas and as an interim law clerk to the Honorable Lee Yeakel of the United States District Court of the Western District of Texas. While at the court, he drafted orders and opinions, analyzed motions and petitions, prepared legal memoranda, performed legal research and attended and participated in trials and hearings.

During law school, Luke served as an intern to the Honorable Thomas R. Phillips, then Chief Justice of the Texas Supreme Court and as a legal clerk to State Senator Mike Jackson.

Prior to law school, Luke worked for Public Strategies, Inc., where he developed experience in crafting campaigns and framing public issues. In 2002 Luke served as an intern in the Office of the Senior Advisor to the President in The White House.
